Introductory note

It is worth mentioning that a quite widespread effort to take advantage of computers while teaching the mother tongue is observed in our country too. The specific issue is multidimensional and has given rise to rich discussion and examination within the international context since the 70s. Nevertheless, in our country the latter failed to be widely discussed. Thus within the aim to offer a more comprehensive and extensive presentation of the aforementioned discussion and examination the CGL (Centre for the Greek Language) organized a special one-day conference with the participation of greek scientists and experts invited from abroad.
