Error Analysis in Written Composition in the CGL’s examinations for the certificate of attainment in Greek 

Introductory Note

The subject of this research, which was carried out on a random sample of papers from the examinations for the certificate of attainment in 2004 and 2005, was to determine with precision the factors (e.g., sex, age, ethnic group) influencing the performance of students of Modern Greek in their writing. The results of this process and a number of teaching suggestions in light of these can be used to improve teaching and more effective learning of Modern Greek.
