Summary 

 

Introductory Note

This section has a dual purpose: firstly, to define “Summary” as a type of text by identifying its linguistic and structural features, and secondly to propose trial applications of summaries of actual texts – thus combining theory with practice. The material presented here has been designed with the aim of supporting educators in teaching the relevant school subject, included in the textbook Ekthesi-Ekfrasi (2nd grade of the Upper Secondary School (lykeion).
