The Greek language in Europe 

 

Twenty texts, accompanied by supporting materials, which illustrate the place of Greek in today’s united Europe. The purpose is to highlight both the questions posed in relation to “strong” and “weak” languages within the framework of the language reality of Europe, as well as the particular features of Greek determined by its geographical location and history. The user can also surf websites presenting the official European language policy and its implementation in Greece (legislation, programs, institutions).
