Introductory Note
This unit is an anthology of translated poetry and short stories, drawn from modern and contemporary world literature. The anthology is divided into two sections, poetry and short stories, and includes 90 poems and 30 short stories, arranged in alphabetical order by author. The works were selected from published translations, chosen for the quality of the translation and with the intent to provide as representative an anthology as possible (in terms of both language and genre) of the world literature that has been translated into Greek.
